16/May/06: Flesh WILL Be Part Of The New BTNH, But NOT Bizzy
AllHipHop recently learned that Bone Thugs-n-Harmony member Flesh-n-Bone will in fact be a part of the new Bone Thugs project. Although Flesh-n-Bone is still incarcerated at a California State Penitentiary , he has been allowed to lend his lyrics to the new project. He is set for parole in 2008.
It has also been stated by the remaining members that in no way will Bizzy Bone be apart of the new project. Krayzie had the following to say about the groups and Bizzy's relationship:
"We're cool [with Bizzy], but as far as speaking to him, I'm not sure if anyone can have a regular conversation with him right now", said Krayzie Bone. "Right now I guess he's going through whatever he's going through in life. Whenever he wants to come back he can come back. Ain't gonna be no dis songs about him or nothin' like that. We're still family."
As everyone already knows the album is through Swizz Beatz' Full Surface Records who's contract recently expired at J Records. Once everyone found out Swizz was working with Bone, Full Surface Records was offered many deals. Interscope came through with the most money and the rest is history.
Bone Thugs-n-Harmony are also going to release their own clothing line called "The Line" to go along with Krayzie Bone's shoe the TL Classics.
11/May/06: BTNH Sign With Full Surface Records/Interscope
After releasing Thug World Order four years ago it had seemed as if Bone Thugs-n-Harmony were finished--failing to achieve the success of their previous albums and slowly falling out of the limelight. Since breaking away from Ruthless Records following Thug World Order, members Krayzie and Layzie released solo album's in hopes to regain their spot in hip hop but to no ones surprise Bone Thugs-n-Harmony were not promoted nor distributed correctly. This is all about to change in 2006!
As we brought you all this news previously it has now become official. You all have known for quite some time Bone Thugs-n-Harmony were signed by Swizz Beatz' Full Surface Records. It has now become official that instead of being distributed through J Records, Bone and Swizz, have decided to go with the "Machine" at Interscope Records which distributes the likes of Dr. Dre, Eminem, Busta Rhymes, 50 Cent and many more leaders in the hip hop industry.
Just think of the possibilities this brings for Bone Thugs-n-Harmony working with Swizz Beatz, Dr. Dre, DJ Uneek, Kanye West and many other rumored superstar producers such as 3 6 Mafia, Timbaland, Big Boi (Outkast), Lil Jon, and Play-n-Skillz
Check back soon as Bonethugsnharmony.co.uk will keep you updated on this situation.

11/Feb/06: BTNH Greatest Hits Nearing Platinum Status
Bone Thugs-N-Harmony's double-disc retrospective set Greatest Hits continues to inch forward to platinum status, selling 6,564 last week to bump its overall sales total to 448,730, according to Nielsen Soundscan. Because each disc in the set counts as one unit, the album is eligibile for platinum certification by the RIAA once its shipments reach 500,000. Greatest Hits - while never tearing up the charts - has shown tremendous staying power on the Billboard Top 200, holding its ground in the bottom half of the charts since its release in November 2004. Certainly, it is extremely rare for an album that saw its peak at #95 to reach platinum. Greatest Hits combines Bone's most commercially successful tracks ("Tha Crossroads", "1st Of Tha Month") with a bevy of fan favorites ("Thug Luv", "Ecstacy") and guest appearances (Notorious B.I.G.'s "Notorious Thugs", Mariah Carey's "Breakdown"). In all, twenty-six songs are contained in the set, which saw a re-release in the form of Greatest Hits: Chopped and Screwed late last year.
Bone Thugs-N-Harmony are no strangers to platinum, amassing an impressive array of plaques over the span of their decade-plus career:
E. 1999 Eternal - 4x Platinum*
The Art Of War - 4x Platinum
Creepin' On Ah Come Up - 2x Platinum
BTNHResurrection - 1x Platinum
The Collection Volume One - 1x Platinum
* Is eligible for 5x Platinum certification
07/Feb/06: Layzie & Noble's 'Thug Brothers' hits stores
Thug Brothers hits stores February 7th via Real Talk Entertainment and features production by Mike Mosley (producer of the 2Pac classics "Ain't Hard 2 Find" and "Heavy In The Game") and Big Hollis, among others.
Real Talk Entertainment (which recently signed a distribution deal with Koch Records) has a busy schedule in the next few months. Besides the Thug Brothers album, they are also releasing Bizzy Bone's The Story (3/21), Young Noble and EDI's Against All Oddz (3/07), and Keep It Gangsta (2/21), the followup to the Spice 1-MC Eiht collaboration The Pioneers.

02/Feb/06: 'Spit Your Game' Video Shoot Completed
Bone Thugs-N-Harmony has finished shooting the video for the remix to the Krayzie Bone-Twista-Notorious B.I.G collaboration "Spit Your Game", which appeared on the late rapper's Duets: The Final Chapter album. The video version of the song also features Eightball and MJG.
The album has been tauted as the final release by P.Diddy for the deceased Notorious BIG. The album features many of todays top artists including Nas, The Game, Lil Wayne, Twista, Krayzie Bone, Bob Marley, Faith Evans and Eminem to name a few.
BET was on set in Atlanta filming an episode of "Making The Video", which will air within the next few weeks. The video and track will hopefully help Bone Thugs in their crusade to get themselves back on the Hip Hop map, were they belong. The track features a verse from Bone's very own Krayzie Bone and leaves BTNH fans with hope of a successfull comeback bid.
29/Dec/05: Bone Thugs n Harmony 'Creepin On A Comeback'
Even though you may not have heard a new Bone Thugs-'N-Harmony song on the radio in a while, that doesn't mean they aren't putting in work. In fact, the group has overcome battles with their label, four separate solo projects, the loss of Bizzy Bone and the incarceration of Flesh-N-Bone to once again collaborate for what they say is their most impressive body of work.
“We got about 1,000 songs recorded together,” said Layzie Bone. “About 1,000 individually. We got heat!”
Apparently, the group has so much new and unreleased music that they are on tour promoting two new albums that are scheduled for release in 2006. The group's first album under their new label, J Records, should be in stores in July. They also plan to release an underground album sometime next year.
“We got so much music that the world ain't heard it's ridiculous,” said Krayzie Bone during a telephone interview as the group traveled from Phoenix, Arizona to Anaheim, California for another tour stop. “We were waiting to get out of that Ruthless Records deal so that we could put out the music that we never released. We didn't want to do it while we were still at Ruthless Records cause we really wasn't getting no money.”
While money is a surefire way to strain relations between artists and their labels, Bone Thugs-'N-Harmony have several reasons to be thankful they can move on from the era of Ruthless Records. In spite of the success of their debut album “Creepin' on a Come-Up,” the fact that they sold more than 15 million albums total and won a Grammy award for the single “Tha Crossroads” with Ruthless, they released three albums that failed to live up to the group's expectations. The group also experienced the most personal turmoil among its members during this time. Flesh 'N Bone was sentenced to 11 years in prison for weapons possession and assault in September of 2000 and Bizzy Bone parted ways with the group three years later. As Bone looks forward to making an impact in the future, they also want to prove its past success was no fluke and Bone is here to stay.
“I know we're going against a lot of negative talk. Everybody's saying 'Bone isn't going to be there because Bizzy Bone's not in the group' or we're played out. (The album) answered all them questions in a major way,” said Krayzie.
On the new albums, Bone says fans should expect their signature fast-paced delivery and harmonious hooks, but they should also be prepared to hear new things.
“The J Records album is going to have a lot of features, something we never really did before--a lot of big name producers,” said Wish Bone. “And we'll take it back to the basics on the underground album. Just straight gutter stuff.”
Fans also shouldn't expect a minor inconvenience like prison to keep the remaining members of Bone apart. Krayzie, Layzie and Wish say they have gone out of their way to make sure they can record with Flesh, and will continue to keep him included in whatever they do, locked up or not.
“We got a little hook-up where they can go in there and let him do things,” said Wish. “We'll just audio it up or add it to stuff. We're definitely going to try to have a couple verses with him on it on the new stuff. Hopefully, we can get him out of there soon.”
So when Bone Thugs-'N-Harmony brings their “Greatest Hits Tour” to Mr. Small's Theater in Millvale Dec. 17, they may not look like the group that was on top of the world in 1996. However, Bone says they promise to bring the energy and talent that made them successful in the first place and to combine that with the growth and experience they say will solidify their role as hip-hop legends.
“I think they should expect the past and something new,” said Layzie. “All we did was grow. We just got better. It's a fine like wine situation.”

Krayzie Bone will appear on the new Notorious B.I.G album Duets: The Final Chapter on the track "Spit Your Game". The song, produced by Swizz Beatz, also features former Bone Thugs rival Twista.
Duets: The Final Chapter takes previously released verses from the slain rapper and matches them up with today's hottest artists over brand new beats. Likewise, the verse from Notorious B.I.G that turns up on "Spit Your Game" is lifted from the classic Bone-Biggie collaboration "Notorious Thugs." (The verses by Krayzie Bone and Twista are brand new).
"Spit Your Game" marks the first released collaboration between a member of Bone Thugs-N-Harmony and producer Swizz Beatz. Bone Thugs-N-Harmony's album on Swizz's Full Surface Records (an imprint of J Records) is expected to be released sometime next summer.

Texas hitmakers Play-N-Skillz are set to drop their debut album The Process in stores this Tuesday (October 18) on Universal Records. The long-awaited album by the production/rap duo features Krayzie Bone on "Freaks" and Layzie Bone on "Represent" and also includes guest spots from Three 6 Mafia, Akon and Chamillionaire.
Play-N-Skillz produced 11 tracks on Lil Flip's latest album "U Gotta Feel Me" and have worked in the past with Bone Thugs-N-Harmony on Amanda Perez's "Dedicate" (featuring Layzie Bone) and the upcoming Chamillionaire-Krayzie Bone collaboration "Ridin' Dirty". 30/Sep/05: Krayzie Bone Discusses Upcoming Bone Projects
Bone Thugs-N-Harmony is celebrating the gold-selling status of their greatest hits CD by releasing a "chopped & screwed" version of the album. The group is also preparing two new releases under Swizz Beats' Full Surface recording imprint, as well as Bone Thug Records. Bone Thugs-N-Harmony Greatest Hits: Chopped & Screwed will be produced by famed Swisha House producer Michael "5000" Watts.
"We have really been wanting to do a project like this for a long time," Krayzie said. “We were on the screw tip when DJ Screw first hit the scene. That is one of the main reasons [why] when you listen to a lot of our beats, they are slowed down a little bit, because that type of element that [chopping and screwing] brings influences us and the style we have today."
The group is also working on a new studio album under Swizz Beat's Full Surface record label, as well as an independent group record to be released under Bone Thug Records.
"We really like the position that we are in right now," Krayzie continued. "We are just trying to put as much out there for our fans as possible. [Our] greatest hits album going gold shows us that our presence is still being felt in the game. We are going to definitely continue to bring the music that our fans know and love, because that's all we know how to do." In addition to releasing their greatest hits, Bone Thugs-N-Harmony have released a DVD that features a video compilation of the groups videos. "The DVD is doing well," Krayzie continued. "If it continues to do the numbers it has been doing, we will probably do a re-release with additional videos or some unreleased clips."
Although the group has a jam packed schedule, Krayzie is preparing for the launch of his sneaker line with Authentiks, entitled TL Classics which is scheduled to hit stores in January.
"We are starting the promotional run for [the TL Classics] in December," Krayzie said. “I am trying to be fresh with them and just really make my presence known on the footwear side of things."
The shoes will be available in every color and with every purchase, consumers will receive a bonus CD with an unreleased track from Krayzie Bone.
Bone Thugs-N-Harmony Greatest Hits: Chopped & Screwed hits stores November 15. Both the Greatest Hits CD and DVD are in stores now.

30/Sep/05: Layzie's Finger Is Nearly BITTEN Off
In one of the more bizarre accounts of artist/fan interactions, Bone Thugs-N-Harmony's Layzie Bone almost lost a finger on Saturday when an irate fan tried to bite it off during a scuffle.
According to a source close to the group, Layzie, Krayzie and Wish Bone were in Palm Springs, California, to perform at a club and before they could even get to the venue, the show was canceled. Bone's camp said police intervened, fearing gang violence, but a spokesperson for the police said that was not the case and that if the show was canceled it was because the promoter did not obtain the proper permits from the city.
In any event, Bone Thugs visited another local club, Havana, and then headed back to their hotel, a Holiday Inn Express in Cathedral City, where the madness occurred.
According to the Bone camp, Layzie and his wife were in one of the rooms with some friends and invited some fans up to mingle. There was an undisclosed number of men and women in the room when one of the men attacked Layzie, apparently disgruntled because of the show's cancellation. The distraught man was able to bite down on one of the rapper's fingers and pierced the skin all the way to the bone. The man was then held by Layzie's friends until police arrived. Police said the attacker was not arrested because Layzie Bone refused to press charges or even cooperate with authorities. Layzie was rushed to a hospital, where doctors were able to save his appendage. The fleet-mouthed rapper's finger was stitched up and Layzie is said to be resting in Hawaii with his wife. Despite suffering extreme pain, Layzie is expected to meet up with his group in two weeks to continue recording a new album.
Bizzy Bone left the group earlier this year, but for the past several weeks the remaining three members have recorded 25 songs with Swizz Beatz and are close to signing with the producer's Full Surface record label. Bone Thugs have also received beats from Three 6 Mafia, Big Boi and Kanye West, among others. There is still no word on when the album will be in stores or even completed. Meanwhile, Bizzy drops the solo LP Speaking in Tongues this week on indie label 845 Entertainment.

15/Sep/05: Bizzy Bone Reality Series Coming To The Net
Rapper Bizzy Bone, the former front man of Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, has announced the formation of a reality-based show that will be streamed exclusively on AllHipHop.com in a series of weekly webisodes. The show will begin playing September 26 and Bizzy said he’s not concerned with what the public will think of him.
“I don’t know what people are going to think. I don’t really be concerned with it,” Bizzy told AllHipHop.com. “We just doing what we do, doing the best that we can do.”
“It’s people getting to know Bizzy, in the studio, recording the album and other things. People are going to get an in depth look [at him] and get a different side of him - not what the press perceives him as,” said Jarred Weisfeld, who signed Bizzy to his 845 Entertainment.”
The show displays several ranges of Bizzy, from candid to humorous to troubling. But, Bizzy said that he’s going to let the footage speak for itself and hope that it translates into sales of his forthcoming album, Speaking in Tongues.
“I’m just going with the flow,” Bizzy told AllHipHop.com. “We did some footage. It’s just to add to the marketing and promoting of the album. I think it’s going to really do good for the project.”
The Cleveland-reared lyricist stated that his album would live up to expectations and a testament to the trials he has been through in his life.
“I ain’t never been on no dumb shit. This is real serious, you know, Speaking in Tongues is spiritual. Ain’t nobody here to play no fuckin’ games,” Bizzy said. “We serious as a heart attack.”
In 2004, Bizzy released Alpha And Omega and earlier this year, he dropped Bone Brothers, collaboration with fellow BTNH member Layzie Bone. Speaking in Tongues is set to drop on September 27.

27/Aug/05: BTNH Feature On Tupac Next Poetry Album
On September 20th, a number of hip-hop and R&B’s top artists will take a brand new approach to using Tupac Shakur’s poetry in song, paying tribute to the late rapper in his own words on The Rose, Vol. 2 – Music Inspired by Tupac’s Poetry. Unlike its predecessor, The Rose, Vol. 2 is not a spoken word album – instead, each musical artist has taken inspiration from one of the poems in Tupac’s The Rose that Grew from Concrete book and used portions of the poems to build their own original songs, with Tupac’s poetry serving as their muse.
Released by Amaru Entertainment, The Rose, Vol. 2 features 15 fresh tracks from an array of genres, including rap, hip-hop, soul and R&B offerings. The guest artists on The Rose, Vol. 2 include Ludacris, Lyfe Jennings, Bone Thugs -N- Harmony, The Outlawz, Memphis Bleek, and Talib Kweli, among others.
Celina Nixon, a former member of “Pac’s Kids” (the students of the annual Tupac Summer Performing Arts Camp) and now the Artistic Director for the Tupac Amaru Shakur Foundation (TASF), provides the song, “The Eternal Lament,” while another piece - a poem and vocal solo blend entitled “Poetry” – is written and performed by current “Pac’s Kids” Morgan McKenzie (16 years old) and Amber Granderson (15 years old). It is especially noteworthy that Celina
Nixon, Morgan McKenzie and Amber Granderson are three talented young women who allhoned their musical skills through attending the Tupac Summer Performing Arts Camp yearafter year.
Perhaps the most unexpected appearance comes from Digital Underground’s Shock G (AKA Humpty Hump), the man most responsible for launching 2Pac’s solo career, by giving him his first prominent introduction and then allowing him the chance to perform his own verse on theUnderground’s smash hit single, “Same Song.”

20/Aug/05: RUMOUR: Bone Sign To Label Without Bizzy Bone
Remember how Bone were trying to sign to Swizz’s Full Surface Records, but hit a snag with something envolving Bizzy? You know, they performed at a benefit show for Jam Master Jay and everything, but it fell through. Well, I have been hearing from all directions that a deal has been made, without the Bizzy one. I heard the deal went down over the weekend and they have beats by Swizzie, Dr. Dre and Kanye “GEORGE BUSH DOESN’T CARE ABOUT BLACK PEOPLE” West. The rumors swirl that Jay-Z and Mary J. Blige will appear on the comeback drop!
14/Aug/05: Ruthless Records is No More
It has been rumoured, but it is now official, Ruthless Records is no more. It is the Record label business founded by the late great Eric "Eazy-E" Wright, but since his death the business was run into the ground by his widow Tomica Wright!
Ruthless signed arguably one of Hip Hops biggest groups in the form of "Bone Thugs n Harmony" but since Eazy-E's tradgic and untimely death, the Ruthless roster was decreasing all the time, and slowly but surely they were no longer considered even an average Hip Hop label! As Tomica tried but failed too ressurect Ruthless, even Bone Thugs lost patience and went their seperate ways, partly to do with the fact they were on an awful contract!
As of now, the company phones, websites, and business assetes are no more, and leaves us with the question of will we ever get to hear all the unreleased music that Ruthless has from Bone Thugs times there?
